MUZAFFARABAD: The University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (UAJK) has extended the application deadline for admission to the Fall 2023 semester, offering programs at the BS, MSc, MPhil, and PhD levels. This extension aims to accommodate prospective students and provide them with ample time to apply.
According to a press release, the new deadline for admission submissions is now September 15, 2023. In conjunction with this extension, UAJK’s Public Relations Department has released the schedule for entry tests, which will be conducted on September 20 and 21, 2023.
To facilitate the application process for aspiring students, admission forms and comprehensive guidelines are available at the Office of Director Student Affairs, located at Chellah Campus, Muzaffarabad. This initiative ensures that all students, irrespective of their internet access, have easy access to the necessary documentation.
The spokesperson for UAJK confirmed that Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kaleem Abbasi, the Vice-Chancellor, has granted approval for the extension of admission dates across all departments. The new deadline, September 15, 2023, applies uniformly to admissions in the Faculty of Sciences, Faculty of Social Sciences, Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, and Faculty of Engineering.
UAJK Extends Deadline for Entry Test
Applicants interested in the BS programs will sit for the entry test on September 20, 2023, while entry tests for MS, MPhil, and PhD programs are scheduled for September 21, 2023, at respective departmental venues.
The revised schedule outlines the release of the first merit list on September 29, 2023, the second merit list on October 3, 2023, and the third and final merit list on October 6, 2023, for each respective department.
Classes for the Fall 2023 semester are scheduled to commence on October 16, 2023, in accordance with the current timetable.
