KYIV: UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has vowed that Britain would continue supporting Ukraine “until Kyiv has won the war” against Russia. The UK Prime Minister said this during his visit to the capital of Ukraine.
In a joint press conference with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Rishi Sunak announced a 50 million pounds (60 million US dollars) new air defense package, a statement released from Downing Street said.
The UK PM said that the air defence package will be comprised of one hundred and twenty aircraft guns, anti-drone equipment, and radar.
The Ukrainian President appreciated
A “useful and meaningful tour for both nations”.
Zelensky said they elaborated on “the possibilities of safeguarding Ukrainian and European energy and ensuring security”. APP
