Unemployment is Key Concern for Kyrgyzstanis: MP

Bishkek: Kyrgyzstan’s lawmaker has said that the biggest concern for the people of Kyrgyzstan is unemployment.  MP Janar Akaev cited several studies and said that it is a major problem for the people during last three three years. The lawmaker expressed these remarks during a parliamentary session.

“In 2020, 2021, and 2022, unemployment problem persisted. In such situation, several European nations have allocated specific quotas for the employment of Kyrgyz nationals. The United Kingdom (UK), for instance, started with 1,000 quotas for seasonal work, and that number has now increased to 10,000,” he added. Akaev further said that Kyrgyz nationals are interested to learn regarding available quotas for various nations, the process of traveling abroad, reliable firms, and where to seek assistance
