US Ambassador, Diplomats Extend Ramadan Greetings to Pakistani Nation

ISLAMABAD: US Ambassador to Pakistan, Donald Blome, along with other American diplomats, conveyed warm Ramadan-ul-Mubarak greetings to the Pakistani nation as the holy month commences in the country.

In a gesture of goodwill and solidarity, US Ambassador to Pakistan, Donald Blome, along with other American diplomats representing the US Mission in Pakistan, extended heartfelt Ramadan greetings to the Pakistani people.

The diplomatic outreach coincides with the sighting of the crescent moon for the holy month of Ramadan in Pakistan, officially marking the commencement of Ramadan from Tuesday, March 12. The announcement was made by the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee on Monday, marking the beginning of a period of spiritual reflection, fasting, and devotion for Muslims across the country.

Moreover, the first Taraweeh prayers in Pakistan were offered today, symbolizing the initiation of Ramadan and the commencement of nightly prayers throughout the holy month.
