He didn’t give details of the types of weapons expected in the package.

US deciding to give Ukraine ‘more tools that it needs to win’

Sullivan, who accompanied President Biden on a surprise trip to Kyiv this week, said United States officials were constantly deciding how “to give Ukraine the tools that it needs to win.”

He noted while in Kyiv, Biden had announced providing Ukraine “more artillery, more ammunition, more HIMARS,” in addition to previous pledges of United States armored vehicles and, at the later date, tanks.

HIMARS is a US multiple rocket system that Ukrainian forces have used to a devastating effect against the invading Russians.
