US Annual Inflation Rose at its Slowest Pace in More Than Two Years in June

WASHINGTON: US annual inflation recorded its smallest increase in over two years in June. The personal consumption expenditures price index advanced just 3% in the 12 months through June.

As underlying price pressures are receding, a trend that, if sustained, could push the Federal Reserve closer to ending its fastest interest rate hiking cycle since the 1980s.
