WASHINGTON, USA: United States approved a $5 billion sale of up to 600 Patriot missiles and related equipment to Germany. This deal is significant as Germany has already donated several Patriot systems to Ukraine, underscoring the ongoing military support within NATO amidst the conflict in Eastern Europe.
The Defence Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) emphasized that this sale will bolster the security of a key NATO ally, enhancing Germany’s role as a stabilizing force in Europe. The move also aligns with U.S. foreign policy objectives, reinforcing collective defence and political stability across the continent.
