The UN said in a report that a gang turf war in Haiti has caused a shocking humanitarian crisis that has displaced about 200,000 in the country and left about 5.2 million people – half of Haiti’s population – in need of help.

Earlier in August, the US Embassy in the country’s capital was temporarily closed, because of gunfire in the locality.
