WASHINGTON, USA: U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) reported that U.S. forces destroyed three Houthi uncrewed surface vessels in the Red Sea within the past 24 hours.

In addition, the Houthis launched three anti-ship ballistic missiles into the Gulf of Aden, although no injuries or significant damage were reported to U.S., coalition, or merchant vessels.

CENTCOM dismissed recent claims by the Houthis about a successful attack on the aircraft carrier Dwight D. Eisenhower as “categorically false.”

This operation is part of ongoing efforts to ensure the safety and security of key maritime routes in the region amidst increasing tensions and threats from Houthi forces.
