Camp David, United States: US President Joe Biden and the leaders of Japan and South Korea said Friday they saw a “new chapter” of close three-way security cooperation as the Asian allies joined a first-of-a-kind summit that has already rattled China.

Standing alongside Biden and South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol, Japanese Prime Minister described the meeting as “exactly what is needed at this time.”

He addeded: “I’m convinced the trilateral security cooperation between Japan, the US and South Korea has further strengthened regional peace and stability.”
