TASHKENT: Uzbekistan’s delegation, led by Deputy Minister of Justice Muzraf Ikramov, attended the 19th meeting of the European Union-Uzbekistan Subcommittee on Justice, Home Affairs, Human Rights, and Related Issues in Brussels, according to UzA.
Uzbek and European Union representatives discussed cooperative issues such as ensuring the rule of law, developing the judicial and legal systems, preserving human rights, and boosting civil society.
The participants discussed the current condition and possibilities of bilateral relations in the fight against drug trafficking and terrorism, as well as border management and customs system improvements.
