JEDDAH: Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bahram Jan Aliyev, visited the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) General Secretariat in Jeddah on Tuesday.
The Secretary-General of the OIC, Hissein Brahim Taha, received Bahram Jan Aliyev at the General Secretariat.
During their meeting, Bahram Jan Aliyev emphasized Uzbekistan’s strong commitment to the OIC and expressed the importance of enhancing cooperation across various sectors within the Organization.
In response, the Secretary-General praised Uzbekistan’s active participation in the OIC, highlighting its contributions to Joint Islamic Action.
Moreover, he commended Uzbekistan for its efforts in promoting peace, stability, and collaboration in the Central Asian region.
