Van-Bus Collision Leaves Six Killed, 10 Injured in Balochistan

BARKHAN, Pakistan: A devastating collision between a passenger van and a bus near the Radashim area of Barkhan on Tuesday resulted in the loss of at least six lives, while ten others have been left injured.

The incident occurred near Barkhan Radashim Buzdar petrol pump, leaving a trail of grief and sorrow in its wake.

Eyewitnesses described the collision as exceptionally severe, with six people tragically losing their lives on the spot. The impact of the accident was intense leading the emergency response teams and police rushing to the scene promptly to provide immediate medical assistance to the injured.

The deceased was transferred to a nearby hospital, while the injured are currently receiving medical treatment, according to local media.

Among the victims, there were two individuals of Pathan ethnicity and four individuals belonging to the Saraiki community. These unfortunate souls were reportedly on their way to Multan from Daikota when the tragic accident unfolded.

The names of the deceased victims have been released to the public as Shahzad, Muhammad Kashif, Mujeeb, Tabish, Ismatullah, and Muhammad Akram. Among them, two hailed from Balochistan, while four were from Punjab.

The community and families of the victims are now grappling with the shock and immense sadness brought on by this heart-wrenching incident. Lives have been abruptly cut short, leaving behind grieving families, friends, and loved ones who will forever cherish the memories of those lost.
