Vietnam Envoy Vows to Extend Trade Ties with Pakistan

ISLAMABAD:  Ambassador of Vietnam to Pakistan, Pham Anh Tuan has said that over the past 52 years, Vietnam and Pakistan have enjoyed excellent friendship and cooperation in many sectors, including trade, investment, and technology.  The Ambassador made these remarks while addressing a reception to celebrate the 79th Anniversary of the National Day of Vietnam in Islamabad.

The Ambassador said this year, 2024, Vietnam and Pakistan are celebrating the 52nd Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations. Fifty-two years ago, on November 8, 1972, Vietnam and Pakistan officially established diplomatic ties, opening a new page in friendship and cooperation between the two nations. The envoy suggested that the two sides should enhance cooperation to increase trade volume between the sides.  On the occasion, the Ambassador also shared the development and progress of Vietnam.

The event was attended by Ambassadors, representatives of international organizations, and members of civil society. All guests shared the stage with the chief guest and host to celebrate the event in a befitting manner.
