RIYADH: The Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Pham Minh Chinh, has met with CEO of the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) Sultan Al-Marshad in Riyadh and discussed ways to support vital sectors in his country, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Thursday.
According to the SPA, Vietnam is one of the countries benefiting from SFD’s activities in Asia, which started in 2011.
Through loans amounting to more than USD $164 million, the SFD has financed 12 development projects and programs in various sectors, including communications, transportation, and social infrastructure, contributing to social growth, sustainable development and economic prosperity in Vietnam.
