BANGKOK: Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi engaged in the annual consultation with Thai Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Parnpree Bahiddha-Nukara in Bangkok on Sunday.
Wang, also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, highlighted the close ties between China and Thailand, emphasizing that both nations are like one family.
As both countries are set to celebrate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations next year, they are positioned for new opportunities.
Wang urged concerted efforts in modernization and the establishment of a shared future for the China-Thailand community.
China expressed its willingness to enhance collaboration across various sectors, aiming for a more stable, prosperous, and sustainable relationship between the two countries.
