JEDDAH: The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has strongly denounced the Israeli occupation forces attacking the Shifa Medical Complex and continuing to besiege Gaza City major hospitals, depriving them of fuel, electricity, and food and targeting staff members, displaced people, the sick, the injured, and premature babies in incubators, with the presence of dozens of corpses inside the hospital, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Wednesday.

According to the SPA, the OIC also denounced the continued bombing of residential areas and homes, infrastructure, and facilities and the practice of collective punishment and war of extermination against civilian population in the Gaza Strip, which constitutes a war crime under global humanitarian law.
The OIC also renewed its call on all global actors to assume their duties and responsibilities towards stopping the Israeli aggression and urgently and to ensure the opening of humanitarian corridors to deliver help safely and sustainably to the people of Palestine in the Gaza Strip, the SPA further said.
