Weather Update: Western Winds Bring Rain and Snow to Multiple Regions

ISLAMABAD: From today, western winds are set to impact Balochistan, leading to rain and potential snow in various parts of Pakistan. The weather conditions are expected to persist until January 9.

Balochistan: Heavy rains with thunderstorms are anticipated in cities including Quetta, Ziarat, Khuzdar, Turbat, Awaran, Barkhan, Dera Bugti, Loralai, Jafarabad, Naseerabad, Kalat, Zhob, and Lasbela.

There’s a chance of heavy rain and snowfall on mountains.

Sindh: From tonight until January 6, light to moderate rain is likely in areas such as Dadu, Nawabshah, Mirpurkhas, Hyderabad, Larkana, Sukkur, Moro, and Shikarpur.

Drizzle or light rain may also occur.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Between January 6 and 9, there’s a 40% chance of rain in mountainous areas.

Gilgit-Baltistan, Skardu, Chitral, Naran, Kaghan, Nithia-Gali, Balakot, Muzaffarabad, Kashmir.

Expect rain and snow on the mountains.

Punjab: Light to moderate rain is possible in some areas from January 6 to January 9.

Cities like Multan, Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan, Sadiqabad, Bhakkar Leh, and Dera Ghazi Khan may experience light rain.
