Weather Update: Weatherman Forecasts Snowfall in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Meteorological Department has predicted rain accompanied by thunderstorms and snowfall in most regions of the country during the next twelve hours. Balochistan and upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa may experience isolated heavy downpours and snowfall. Additionally, hailstorms are anticipated in some areas. This morning’s temperature readings for major cities are as follows: Islamabad at 8°C, Lahore at 11°C, Karachi at 19°C, Peshawar at 10°C, Quetta and Muzaffarabad at 7°C, Gilgit at -1°C, and Murree at -2°C.

In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, cloudy skies with the likelihood of rain and snow are expected in Srinagar, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula. Meanwhile, Jammu may experience cloudy weather with chances of rain and thunderstorms.

This morning’s temperatures were recorded as follows: Srinagar and Baramula at 0°C, Jammu at 10°C, Leh at -9°C, and Pulwama, Anantnag, and Shopian at -1°C.
