Running Clubs

Islamabad Running Club

Islamabad Running Club (IRC) is the result of the vision of its founders: Shahid Sultan, Bilal Ehsan, Nauman Iqbal, Affan Baig, Shahid Shah and Ammar Ali. United by a passion for endurance running, they recognised the need for a dedicated platform to promote and facilitate marathon and ultra-marathon participation. Founded on this principle, the club has since flourished, providing a supportive community and comprehensive training to empower runners to achieve their goals in short as well as long-distance events.

Their mission is simple: to make running accessible to everyone in Pakistan.

Through regular group runs, training sessions, and social events, we strive to create a vibrant running community where individuals can connect, motivate each other, and share their passion for the sport.

One of the unique aspects of Islamabad Running Club is their focus on participation in major racing events. Whether it is a local charity run, a marathon, or an ultra-distance race, we provide guidance, and support to help their members achieve their racing goals.
