CALIFORNIA: WhatsApp has introduced a new feature allowing users to pin up to three messages in a chat, providing enhanced control over crucial information, WABetaInfo reported.

Beta testers are currently exploring an updated interface designed to manage pinned messages more efficiently. If a user attempts to pin a fourth message, WhatsApp automatically removes the oldest one to maintain the set limit.

This enhancement is geared towards improving chat organization, allowing users to prioritize various content such as announcements, important dates, key information, messages, and reminders. Previously limited to pinning just one message at a time, users now have the flexibility to pin multiple messages without losing track of previous ones.

This feature streamlines conversations effectively, enabling users to swiftly access the most pertinent content without the need to repeatedly scroll through the entire chat history. The feature is gradually being made available to more users through the latest WhatsApp beta for Android.

Meanwhile, WhatsApp already offers a feature called starred messages, serving as a bookmark to save messages within chats for easy navigation. This update underscores WhatsApp’s ongoing commitment to enhancing user experience and fostering more organized and expressive conversations.
