LONDON: WhatsApp, the popular messaging platform owned by Meta, is testing a new feature that will allow users to add music to their status updates, similar to the existing music features on Meta’s other platforms, Facebook and Instagram.

With the new music feature, WhatsApp users will be able to add music to their photo or video statuses. The functionality will include a search option, allowing users to easily find and add songs to their updates before posting.

Currently in the experimental phase, this feature is not yet available to the public, but it is expected to be rolled out in an upcoming update. Once launched, users will be able to enjoy a more personalized touch to their status updates.

WhatsApp is also working on a sticker organization tool. The new feature will allow users to sort and manage their sticker collections more efficiently, making it easier to locate and use stickers during chats.
