Wildfire Prompts Evacuations Near Los Angeles

GORMAN, USA: Authorities have issued evacuation orders as a wildfire rages in Los Angeles County, threatening nearby structures and spreading rapidly close to a major highway.

The Post Fire, as it’s named, has consumed over 14.5 square kilometers near Interstate 5 in Gorman, approximately 100 kilometers northwest of Los Angeles. Reported by the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, the flames ignited around 1:45 p.m.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department has yet to respond regarding the evacuations, injuries, and the fire’s current size. An investigation into the blaze is ongoing as residents in the affected areas brace for potential impacts.
