ISLAMABAD: The Federal Education Ministry on Thursday extended winter vacations for private educational institutions in Islamabad till January 7.

According to a letter issued by the education ministry, the decision has been taken due to a severe cold wave that has gripped the country.
The letter said that all private educational institutions will now reopen on January 9, 2023.
Earlier, the winter break for educational institutions in Islamabad was announced from December 26 to December 31.
