MULTAN: An unfortunate incident occurred in Lodhran, where unidentified individuals threw acid on a female lawyer, causing severe burns to half of her body, including her face.
The survivor, Nosheen Sabahat, was immediately transported to the district hospital in critical condition. In a video message, the female lawyer revealed that her family had ongoing disputes with the Samaija family. She alleged that members of the opposing family were responsible for the attack.
According to her, the accused individuals she named in her statement, including Qazi Naeem and Qazi Tanveer, along with three others, approached her residence. Upon her exit, they suddenly threw acid at her, which resulted in extensive burns to her arms and face.
She painfully showed her injuries, explaining that the acid attack affected her entire body. She appealed to higher authorities for justice. Local law enforcement has registered the case and initiated an investigation.
