World Assembly of Muslim Youth Hails Saudi Vision 2030 Focus on Teacher Development

RIYADH: On World Teachers’ Day, the World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) has lauded the Saudi Vision 2030 for prioritizing teachers and their development, in addition to recognizing educators as fundamental to the educational process, serving as the foundation for advancement and progress, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

In a statement, WAMY has highlighted teachers as role models for next generations, shaping students’ morals and values, and contributing to community advancement towards promising horizons and distinguished leadership anchored in Islamic values.

The SPA added that the assembly also emphasized Vision 2030’s focus on modern advancements for quality education based on emerging theories. This also includes improving teaching via digital transformation as well as technology integration to meet the needs of new generations, and instilling educational values to develop students’ talents and capabilities.

WAMY reiterated its support for educators in all educational endeavors, enhancing their abilities and skills to effectively engage with students and fulfill their educational mission, the SPA further said.
