World Bank to Install Facilities In 400 Girls’ Schools to Promote Education

ISLAMABAD: Under the “Actions to Strengthen Performance for Inclusive and Responsive Education Programme (ASPIRE)” project, the World Bank will collaborate with the School Education Department to upgrade the infrastructure in 400 girls’ schools across six districts in Pakistan, local media reported on Saturday.

According to official sources, the project will be implemented in six districts, including DG Khan, Bhakkar, Rajanpur, Rahim Yar Khan, and Muzaffargarh district.

The ASPIRE project’s primary goal is to promote and uphold cleanliness, a healthy diet, and the provision of various facilities in girls’ schools. Modern standards will be used in the construction and renovation of restrooms. In the same way, classrooms will also provide the most recent facilities necessary for quality education.  Similarly, a survey in district Muzaffargarh for selecting girls’ schools has also been completed.
