ISLAMABAD: Geo-economic fragmentation, technological shift, economic uncertainty, demographic changes, and the green transition – individually and in combination are among the major drivers enlisted to shape and transform the global labour market by 2030.
The Future of Jobs Report 2025 by the World Economic Forum (WEF) combines the perspective of over 1,000 leading global employers who collectively represent around 14 million workers across 22 industry clusters and 55 economies across the world.
The report gives insight into important jobs, skills, and sectors that are going to determine the future of the labour market.
Around 170 million new jobs will be created by 2030, according to the report.
