TOKYO: A company in Japan has prepared the world’s most expensive ice cream with luxurious ingredients, which costs more than 1.8 million rupees.
Ice cream is the go-to dessert for many people in the summer as many enjoy that velvety textured cold delight in various flavours.
However, no matter how much you want ice cream, would anyone ever pay over Rs1.8 million? This might sound unbelievable, but made in Japan, the most expensive ice cream in the world is priced at 873,400 Japanese Yen (around 18, 07,938 Pakistani rupees).
According to Guinness World Records, to set a world record, the Japanese ice cream firm Cellato allegedly used expensive and rare ingredients to produce a special delicacy. They have used products like sake lees, Parmigiano Reggiano, and white truffle from Alba, Italy, that cost 2 million Japanese yen.
A Cellato company representative told Guinness World Records, “It took us over 1.5 years to make it, with many errors and trials, to get the desired taste. Getting a Guinness World Records title made our effort all worth it.”
