Yoga Sessions Planned for Citizens in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: The Sports and Culture Department of the Metropolitan Corporation Islamabad (MCI) has started yoga sessions to foster the well-being of residents of the capital.

The sessions commenced on Thursday, will take place over a two-month period. The events will take place at two venues: the Multipurpose Ground in Sector F-6 Markaz, and F-9 Park Islamabad.

Yoga Sessions for All Ages

Conducted by certified professionals, the yoga classes will accommodate participants of all ages and genders. Two shifts are available, from 6am to 8am in the morning and from 4pm to 6pm in the evening.

Furthermore, the Sports and Culture Department is initiating coaching classes for basketball, lawn tennis, and futsal, catering to boys and girls aged between 7 to 16 years. These coaching sessions will be held at Sector F-6 Markaz, Multi-Purpose Ground.

These endeavors, initially piloted, underscored the MCI’s dedication to instilling a healthy lifestyle ethos, especially among the youth.
