ISLAMABAD: Renowned Pakistani actress Yumna Zaidi, celebrated for her role in the hit drama series “Tere Bin,” has recently addressed the question of her single status with candidness and pride.
During a fan interaction event in Dallas, where she and the cast of “Tere Bin” engaged with their supporters, Zaidi responded to an inquiry about her being single at the age of 34.
In a viral video clip from the event, Zaidi openly discussed her relationship status, revealing that she is content with her single life. She attributed her singlehood to her own complex personality, describing herself as a “difficult” and “moody” individual. Despite this, Zaidi expressed that she thoroughly enjoys her independence.
“I’m a difficult sort of person, that’s why I’m single,” Zaidi said, adding with a touch of humor, “I don’t know, it’s so weird to say that but I love being single.” The actress emphasized that she is proud of her current status and finds satisfaction in it.
Earlier, Zaidi had shared her thoughts on the qualities she seeks in a potential life partner. She has outlined that her ideal partner must be a “good human being,” intelligent, and possess a sharp mind. Zaidi highlighted the importance of a strong “good companionship” rather than physical attributes alone. Although she admires Hollywood star Tom Cruise, she clarified that his good looks are not a primary criterion for her future spouse.
