Zelensky Asks for Speedy Assistance from West

KYIV: Ukraine’s President Zelenskiy asked his allies in the West to be speedy in sending more military aid as NATO defense ministers met on Wednesday and Russia bombed the eastern front line.

President Zelenskiy said that Moscow was in a hurry to attain as much as it could with its latest offensive before Ukraine and its partners could gather strength. In a video address, Zelenskiy said that therefore, he is insisting to take speedy measures to send them more military aid. He said that speed can save lives, and bring back security. He remarked that Kyiv’s allies also realized that speed is very important.

U.S. Defense Secretary said that he expected Kyiv to start its own offensive against Moscow in the spring. He added that Russia’s allies were working to ensure they (Ukraine) had the firepower, armour, and logistics to make it effective.

The Defense Secretary said that Kyiv has urgent needs to assist it to meet this crucial time in the course of the war and conflict. He added that they believe there’ll be an opportunity for Ukraine to take initiative.

NATO Chief Jens Stoltenberg also claimed that Russian President Putin was making homework for more war and new attacks.

the General Staff of the Ukrainian Forces said that Russian forces launched missile attacks on Kostyantynivka and Kramatorsk in Donetsk.
