Nepal Police Arrest Two Indians With Pistol

KAPILVASTU: Nepal’s Police on Saturday said that they have arrested two Indian nationals with a pistol in Kapilvastu on Friday evening.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Hari Bahadur Oli reported that the suspects, riding as pillion passengers on a motorcycle driven by Pritam Kumar, were apprehended while traveling from Chandrauta to Krishnanagar in Krishnanagar Municipality-8.

Recovered from Suraj Dwivedi, 22, from Devapar Harnakha, Uttar Pradesh, was a pistol labeled “Made in Kanpur” along with five rounds of ammunition. The police also found some illegal drugs in the possession of the suspects.

An investigation is underway to gather more information, according to the police.
