ISLAMABAD: Try out this delicious and unique Donut Burger recipe with scrumptious donut buns, juicy burger patties, and a savory sauce, that makes it a perfect combination.

Ingredients:

For the Sauce:

1 ½ cups mayonnaise

1 tbsp honey Dijon mustard

2 tbsp ketchup

1 ½ tbsp hot sauce

2 tbsp lemon juice

2 tbsp chopped lettuce leaves

3 tbsp chopped onion

For the Donuts:

2 tsp yeast

1 egg

3 tbsp butter

2 tbsp caster sugar

1 tsp salt

3 ½ cups all-purpose flour

Oil (for frying)

For Assembling:

1070 g burger patties

1 donut

Cheddar cheese slices (as needed)

Onion rings (as needed)

Sliced tomatoes (as needed)

Sauce (as needed)

Lettuce leaves (as needed)

Instructions:

In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, honey Dijon mustard, ketchup, hot sauce, lemon juice, chopped lettuce, and chopped onion. Your sauce is ready.

In a glass, combine warm milk, sugar, egg, and yeast. Mix well and let it rest for five minutes.

In a bowl, mix flour, salt, yeast mixture, and butter. Knead into a shaggy dough ball. Cover and let it rest in a warm place for 30-35 minutes or until doubled in size.

Knead the dough again for 2-3 minutes. Divide into 8 equal parts, flatten, make a hole in the center, and shape into donuts. Let rest for 10 minutes.

Fry the donuts in a pan over medium-low heat until golden brown. Set aside.

Cut a donut in half, spread sauce on each side, place a burger patty, and add onion rings, tomato slices, cheddar cheese, and lettuce. Spread more sauce on the top half and place it over the assembled burger.
