ISLAMABAD:  Made with the richness of butter and plush Cashew Nut, Kaju Kheer is a staple in many parts of the world. Try this quick recipe to prepare a delicious dessert.

Ingredients

  • Butter 2 Tablespoon
  • Cashew Nuts 5 Tablespoon
  • Milk 1 Liter
  • Almonds 2 Tablespoon
  • Pistachios 2 Tablespoon
  • Cardamom powder 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Sugar 4 Tablespoon
  • Khoya 3 Tablespoon
  • Almonds To Garnish
  • Pistachios To Garnish

Preparation

  • Take butter in a pan and let it melt.
  • To the pan, add cashew nuts and saute them.
  • Take out the cashew nuts when baked, and set aside.
  • Now pour milk in the pan and stir on high flame.
  • Cover and cook for 6 – 8 minutes.
  • Add in pistachios, almonds, sugar, cardamom powder, and stir for around 2 minutes.
  • Add the baked cashew nuts and cook for around 5 minutes.
  • And then add khoya and cook until the milk decreases to half.
  • Garnish with pistachios and almond, and serve hot or cold as per your choice.
