LOS ANGELES: Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai earned admiration for her rapid reply to 2023 Oscars host Jimmy Kimmel following he asked for her view on Harry Styles and Chris Pine spit-gate.

The education activist also attended the 95th Academy Awards on Sunday as an executive producer of Stranger at the Gate, a nominee for Best Documentary Short Film. Malala Yousafzai was jokingly asked by Jimmy Kimmel, from her seat in the audience at the Dolby Theatre regarding the supposed spit-gate beef between Don’t Worry Darling co-stars Chris Pine and Harry Styles.

“Your work in human rights and education for women and children is an inspiration,” the host said as he reached where Malala Yousafzai was sitting.

“As the youngest Nobel Peace Prize winner in the world’s history, I was wondering, do you think Harry Styles spit on Chris Pine?” the host asked.

Malala Yousafzai responded,” I only talk about peace,”. “You know what, that’s why you are Malala and no one else is,” Jimmy Kimmel said.

Malala’s answer earned praise as many viewers appreciated her reaction on social media.
